Good morning, Daily Money friends, it's Nathan wishing you a happy National Donut Day!

🍩 What's your favorite donut? For me, it's hard to pass up a chocolate glazed or powdered donut. Don't give me anything filled with anything.

Our Kelly Tyko has a roundup of deals to be had on National Donut Day

On to our ...

💡 INSIGHT OF THE DAY: There are signs that we could see record job growth in 2021, admittedly in part because 2020 was so dismal. But hey, we'll take it, right? Employers added 559,000 jobs in May amid falling COVID-19 cases, a loosening of business constraints and stepped-up vaccinations, Paul Davidson reports this morning. The unemployment rate fell from 6.1% to 5.8%, according to the Labor Department.

📰 And here are more stories you won't want to miss:

1. The economy is enjoying a spending boom. But many lower-income Americans feel left behind.

2. Have you gotten any dry cleaning done lately? I'm guessing the answer is no. I haven't either. Here's my story on how dry cleaners are facing devastation.

3. But many Americans are buying new clothes altogether

4. Can businesses ask you for proof of COVID vaccination? In general, yes, but that doesn't mean they will.

5. As the chicken sandwich wars rage on, Burger King's Ch'King is now available.

6. Politicians will be subject to higher standards on Facebook. Their exemption from rules banning certain forms of speech will be eliminated.

Thanks for reading!

🎵May your day be sugary and bright.
