Student spends her meal plan money on food for the homeless

It started out as a TikTok challenge: University student Maya Nepos set out to see how quickly she could spend $600 of her leftover meal plan funds before she graduated. After her post went viral, she ended up delivering some 100 care packages to those in need.

College system ends legacy admissions

Some people argue that this "legacy preference" is a hindrance to those who are the first in their family to apply for college. And that's why one US state recently banned the practice.
